さて、ついに！
ボッシュとバラッドの共演。

しかし、Dark で Sacred　な Night っていかにもコナリーなんだけど。
以前 "Lost Light" という作品を『暗く聖なる夜』とすでに訳してしまっているのだよね。邦題どうなるでしょうねー。

バラッドは女版ボッシュと言って良さそうな刑事かもしれない。
コナリーっぽい。

ボッシュものの前作ではエドガーが出てきたし、今作ではチャスティン（の息子）が出てるし。古くからのファンをにんまりさせるのがお上手ですねぇ。

それからパトロールの警察官にそこそこ女性たちが登場しているのが、個人的には良い感じ。

でもねー、ボッシュがバラッドのお父さんと同じ年頃でベトナム帰りだった、とか。ボッシュが膝が痛いって鍼治療行ってビッコ引いてとか。

ほんと、「思えば遠くへきたもんだ」と思ってしまうわ。

次作もボッシュとバラッドの様なのでボッシュがおじ（い）さんになってしまったのをバラッドの若さとポジションで補う感じ、という感じは否めない。

ずっとパートナーに恵まれなかったボッシュだけれど（どうしてもエドガーではダメなのねぇ・・・）、晩年にSotoという女性新人刑事のメンターになると同時に短期間だけどやっと良いパートナーに巡り会えたと思った途端に離職。そしてこのバラッドと好相性であることを発見ということで、このシリーズがしばらく続いたりするんだろうか。
