その声がとても魅力的なCorinne Bailey Rae。

2008年の始めに突然ご主人が亡くなって1年以上活動を休止していた後のリリースがこの2枚目のアルバム。

第一印象は、サウンドが変わったなー、ということ。

UKの香りがするバックの音。

ちょっと歪んだギターの音に乗っかる彼女の声って想像していなかったかもしれない。

輸入版と国内版とで散々悩んで、結局ボーナストラックのLittle Wingにつられて国内版を購入いたしました。



ふわふわした声なのに、存在感がある。そんな不思議な素敵な声。

最初に　2曲目の　I’d Do It All Again　を聴いたときに、思わず泣きそうになりました。 やっぱり、彼女の身に起きたことを考えてしまう。

それから5曲目のCloserのサビが心に沁みる。
